ABOUT US
My background in dogs begins with two pet Golden Retrievers and two Mixed Breeds that needed extensive behavioral training. I have been an obedience trainer(non competitive)and canine behaviorist for the last twelve years. In that time I discovered the world of Conformation and was bitten by the bug after showing a friend's Irish Wolfhound at a match. From there it was AKC shows with the Wolfhounds and added Labrador Retrievers to my list. I knew then that I wanted a breed of my own.
I began my search for the perfect breed and after two years of research and speaking with many breeders and owners, I decided on the Australian Shepherd.
My quest brought me to the home of Emmy Adasiewicz of Terra-Blue and it was all over from there!!! Em took me under her wing, showed me the ropes, and taught me all I was willing to absorb. Emmy and Joni along with numerous other wonderful, quality breeders (thank you Alison and Kathy!) gave me the mentoring I felt was needed to make the decision to become a kennel on my own.
Now, almost eleven years later, here I am!
